One application of 16 oz per acre, broadcast, at planting and a second foliar application of 16 oz per acre 30 days later. The photos below show the progression of both the treated and untreated plants in the same field.

These results are achieved due to the excellent adjuvant quality of the Chitosan and Yucca combination. Using OII-YS with your regular fertilizer, insecticide and fungicide program greatly increases their effectiveness and leads to greater yields.

Yucca acts as a spreader, causing the tank mixture to make maximum contact with the leaf surface. Chitosan is a sticker and actually moves the active ingredients of the tank mix into the plant. Chitosan is ready absorbed by the plant, assisted by the Yucca component. Once inside the plant Chitosan is systemically distributed throughout. Chitosan has a positive charge and will “grab ahold” of the other active ingredients in the tank mix, thus moving the other actives into the plant with the Chitosan.

In this photo we can see the plants early in their growth cycle. The treated plant on the left has developed a stronger root system early on. This can be attributed to greater uptake of nutrients by the treated plant.

A little further into the growing season the treated plants are ahead of their untreated siblings in both root growth and plant body growth. Getting nutrients moving directly into the plant plays a big role in creating healthy plants that produce more.

In this last photo we can see the yield from one plant in the treated section on the left and an untreated plant on the right. While weight was not measured in this trial, in a trial done by Mississippi State University, the avg. weight was also greater in the treated plants.

This field trial was conducted in south GA under the direction of Advanced Ag Solutions, a distributor of OII-YS. The Photos were provided by them as testament to the effectiveness of OII-YS as an adjuvant.
